WELCOME TO THE DEN

A Drekkubus, also known as a Drek or Drekkie, is a sentient mammal species. The species is open and free to make, with guidelines to help you along the way on your design. Drekkubus are related to felines, and said to be descendants of dragons. (For instance: they have huge tapered tails, they horde specific items, and can perform magic called Affinites.) Drekkubus are long-eared, upright-standing, of semi-human intelligence while still maintaining an animal-like instinct.

  • Drekkubus are mammals, and seem most closely related to felines or dragons, though not directly related to either. They are stout and somewhat bulky, being bottom-heavy creatures, but they can still run and move quickly by balancing the large tails. Drekkies lacking a large tail with the genetic “nub” trait are known to be clumsy runners.

  • You have three choices: â€‹

  1. Your Drekkubus can be canon, and from the world of Beryl Shad or

  2. Your Drekkubus can be just like any other furry character you own, and not a part of the special lore-filled world 

  3. Your Drekkubus can be canon AND not, but it cannot bring elements from either version of its life into the other.

SPECIES TRAITS

1. 5 bones on the tail tip.
2. Feline-like face, separated nostrils, rounded muzzle.
3. (HANDS) 3 fingers + 1 thumb with pawpads
4. (FEET) 4 toes, no pawpads
5. All Drekkubus have pupils. Tends to be round or slit but as long as it has a pupil it's acceptable. They also always have sclera (the white part), and an iris (the colored part.)
6. All Drekkubus are capable of summoning and dismissing a skull-mask, when worn, the eyes disappear and become will-o-the-wisps.
7. All Drekkies have a large and fluffy mane, as well as chest fur, albeit highly customizable.

8. 2 horns and only 2 horns, unless aquatic or plume type, or with certain mutations (paid.)
