STEP 2:

Excellent! Now you have picked either a Lesser, Standard, or Behemoth style Drekkubus. Your next step is going to be choosing the fur pattern on your Drekkubus! Choose wisely, because you can only use ONE per character. View the gallery below to learn about:

1. Common or Standard Fur

  • The most common, no special features

  • Mane tapers to a "v" on the back

2. Maned Fur

  • Very common to any region

  • Tapered mane to tip of tail

  • Connects from tip of head to tip of tail

3. Draped Fur

  • Very common to Pokoui region

  • Tapered mane to tip of tail

  • Connects from tip of head to tip of tail

  • Feathered elbows, ear tips, and hocks

4. Ridged

  • Very common to Dai'ren and Highridge region

  • Spines or spikes begin at shoulderblades to tip of tail

  • 1 or 2 row options

  • Not found on the face, arms, or other body parts

5. Dune

  • Found more commonly in Highridge, occassionally in Ren Sea and Dai'Ren

  • Scales protect extremities from hot desert sands

  • Scaled belly connects to scaled tail

  • Has trouble keeping warm in cool climates

6. Plume

  • Very uncommon, found coastal or in warm wet forest climates

  • DO NOT have horns, but ALWAYS HAVE double feather crest in place of horns

  • Body is largely a mixture of fur, plume, and down

7. Opossum

  • Somewhat common, found frequently in Southmarsh

  • NO FUR in ears, sometimes whole ear is furless

  • NO FUR on hands, feet, or tail

8. Wooly

  • Somewhat common, found frequently in Windgrass plains

  • Found frequently in cold, high altitudes like Pokoui mountains

  • Mane is usually wooly too and blends in with wooly fur

  • Short, normal fur on extremities

9. Aquatic

  • Very common, but classically found in Southmarsh and Ren Sea

  • Normal Aquatic, Leafy, Full Fin, Webbed, Dolphin, Shark types available

  • Aquatics tend to not have manes, but if they do, very waterproof

  • Aquatics fur is VERY SLICK, otter-like texture, extremely waterproof

  • Aquatics DO NOT HAVE HORNS, EVER, they have spongy tentacle-like antennae

  • Aquatics have a "connected" pawpad on the hands AND feet, smooth like dolphin-skin

  • Aquatics Drekkubus can ONLY BE standard body type

  • (Note: "Type 1 and Type 2" variations are no longer valid terms.)

  • (Note: Aquatics used to be very loosely organized and thus broadly designed. We ask that current aquatic designs please follow our current rules.)

* All drekkubus modeled are Standard Body Type

* Aquatic drekkubus can ONLY BE  STANDARD BODY TYPE

* Aquatic Drekkubus used to be very loosely monitored and didn't have many rules. Though we'd like it if you updated to our new rules, you don't need to or have to. Newly made Aquatics need to follow the current rules though.

STEP 3:

Great job! Now you've decided whether or not you have a Lesser, Standard, or Behemoth drekkubus, and you've chosen to make it either Standard, Maned, Ridged, Draped, Dune, Plume, Opossum, Wooly, or Aquatic. The next step is to choose a few minor details. View the gallery below to view options on cheek fur, tongue type, horn shape, tail type, and eye appearances.

* You can make your own horns that are not on this list, but the rule is: 2 horns on the head, no more, no facial horns.

* The pupil is generally round or slit (cat-like) but you can use any shape pupil, BUT A PUPIL, SCLERA, AND IRIS ARE 100% REQUIRED.

* An old rule used to state that antlers on drekkubus cannot have more than 3 tines or points. This is no longer a valid rule!
